Watering Conservation Program at LSA
As a reminder, the restriction of odd numbered lot watering on odd numbered days and even lot watering on even days has been in effect. However, on your respective days, you will be allowed to water at a time of your choosing for a period of 3 hours with the recommended watering times to be between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
The district has realized that the past watering times of 7-9 a.m. and 7-9 p.m. coincide with what are normally higher water usage times. Accordingly, OCLUD asks that, if possible, lawn watering be considered at times of lower water usage. If weather conditions or equipment failures require, the district may need to impose further restrictions to lawn watering. As in past years, OCLUD may be forced to implement a total ban on lawn watering.
ECC Notices
When making changes in your approved blueprint for construction, please notify the Environmental Control Committee.
Before any construction, remodeling, or replacement of the existing exterior of the house (Windows, doors, siding, roof & gutters are excluded), its attachments, a deck, a canopy (used as a car/boat shelter), a dog run, a gazebo/screen house, etc., the proposed action MUST be presented to the ECC for review and approval.
Any action undertaken without the review and approval of the ECC is subject to a removal order by ECC. The cost to remove an unapproved project will be born by the owner of the property.
Garbage Dsiposal
It has come to the attention of the Lake Summerset Association that some members have been disposing their excess refuse in area dumpsters and barrels that are being used for construction. This will not be tolerated. Fines will be assessed to anyone caught dumping garbage in L.S.A. containers or dumpsters around the lake.
